Operations Analyst

We are looking for an experienced Operations Analyst to join our team. Our ideal candidate is incredibly efficient in managing time and is a results-oriented person with meticulous attention to detail. Success in this role leads to efficient onboarding of new merchant accounts, successful handoff from underwriting to customer service, and overall client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the onboarding lifecycle of new portfolios, including review applications, pricing, risk, documentation, etc. to ensure compliance standards
  • Transition newly onboarded customers to customer service team, working with the newly acquired portfolio processors to establish access for
  • Maintenance and working with acquired portfolio vendors for PCI Support, Equipment, and Gateway migrations
  • Coordinate across departments, such as Sales, Risk, and Support, for successful portfolio acquisition and onboarding.
  • Work with the development team to ensure that systems are functioning properly and to diagnose errors
  • Upsell and upgrade merchants based on their needs and business assessment
  • Submit and fund leases as it pertains to equipment on new merchant accounts
  • Assist portfolio manager with ad hoc projects

Requirements:

  • Superb customer service skills, ability to mediate and resolve issues, communicate with patience and diligence
  • Familiarity with operational items related to merchant processing including fraud prevention, merchant onboarding, lease submission, and customer service
  • Skilled at multi-tasking with the ability to prioritize key deliverables
  • Ability to work in a fluid, fast-paced environment while maintaining meticulous attention to detail
  • A great attitude, an open mind, an eagerness to learn and a willingness to take initiative, no matter the task
  • The ability to learn new things quickly and implement them efficiently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced level skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of successful portfolio maintenance and upselling
  • Knowledge of card-present and card-not-present payment processing and subscription-based revenue models
  • Knowledge of Point-of-Sale software and payment solutions
  • Strong understanding of payment processing rules, regulations, and industry standards
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
