Hurricane Dorian Status Update – 8/30/2019
As you may be aware, Hurricane Dorian is forecast to pass over the Florida peninsula late this weekend into early next week. South Florida is home to our Corporate Headquarters and may be in the path of Hurricane Dorian, however the storm is still a few days away and its exact impact and landfall is unknown. Therefore, we are monitoring the storm closely and making the necessary arrangements to ensure our team is prepared.
We have engaged our Business Continuity plan to ensure that all services will be running without interruption –
- All consumer-to-merchant processing transactions operate on systems that maintain 100% uptime, with full redundancy coverage
- Incoming inquiries will be handled by remote staff, whether they be customer support, billing support, or new business inquiries
- TouchSuite maintains satellite offices around the country, so calls may be routed away from the Boca Raton, FL headquarters as necessary
We have experienced hurricanes in the past, and will always maintain capabilities to provide uninterrupted service. If there is any change due to the effects of Hurricane Dorian, we will update you as necessary through e-mail. You may also view updates at https://touchsuite.com/support/status/.
As a reminder, our offices will be closed on Monday, September 2, 2019 for the Labor Day holiday. We plan to re-open on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

All networked devices periodically require mandatory software updates. Your VeriFone terminal currently needs to be updated to prevent any potential service disruption.
The software update is simple and mandatory. If you do not update your VeriFone terminal by Friday, June 21, 2019, your terminal may experience service disruptions and will no longer be able to process transactions.
Download and follow the steps provided in the links below to ensure your VeriFone terminal’s software is updated today and prevent any future service disruptions.
The following steps should be followed as outlined in First Data Client Alerts:
Step 1: Determine Your CommServer Version
The issue has been identified within Verifone CommServer. Any version of CommServer prior to 544 or 5441 is affected.
Step 2: Stop Terminal Reboot – If the terminal is not rebooting, Step 2 does not need to be performed.
This process stops the “reboot loop”, but will not fix root cause. In addition, you will need to perform Step 3.
If the terminal is not rebooting, Step 2 does not need to be performed.
Step 3: Update Terminal Information – Needed for ALL terminals
Instructions are provided to perform a partial download, based on terminal model.
