Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Sam Zietz is the founder and CEO of the financial technology company TouchSuite® and its affiliated companies. In 2015, Sam was a recipient of the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Florida; He has served on the judges’ panel for the annual program since 2018.
Under Sam’s leadership, TouchSuite has been the recipient of multiple awards and accolades, most recently named 17th on the list of “Best Entrepreneurial Companies in America” by Entrepreneur Magazine. In 2018, TouchSuite was named “Business of the Year” and one of the “Fastest Growing Technology Companies” by the South Florida Business Journal. The company has appeared on Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 500” list of the fastest growing private companies in America eight times. In 2017, the South Florida Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth named TouchSuite “Emerging Growth Company of the Year.” Florida Governor, Rick Scott, presented Sam with the Governor’s Business Ambassadors award that centered on TouchSuite’s growth and significant contributions to Florida’s economy.
Sam has appeared on the South Florida Business Journal’s list of “Power Leaders,” for the last five years. Zietz was recently named one of South Florida’s Ultimate CEO’s by the South Florida Business Journal. Zietz was recognized in 2017 as the top CEO in Palm Beach County receiving the Apogee Award.
Zietz sits on the board of several educational and entrepreneur-focused organizations, including the Palm Beach chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), Chief Executives Organization (CEO), Florida Council of 100 and the Orange Bowl Committee. He speaks regularly at professional events and universities, has testified before Congress on Entrepreneurship and given a TED talk on achieving success through the entrepreneurial path.
Sam is an active speaker, mentor, and sponsor of the Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA) which teaches students the process of starting and running a real business over the course of a full academic year. He is also an active angel investor with numerous investments under management.
Prior to Touchsuite, Zietz was a corporate attorney specializing in Structured Finance with the New York-based law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom, LLP. Before Skadden, he worked in the Business Tax Planning Department at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Sam earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Michigan then went on to receive his JD from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida where he graduated first in his class. Mr. Zietz later earned his LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law.
Jeff Shavitz has earned over 20 years of experience in the payments industry, having founded several fintech companies himself. In 2000, he co-founded Charge Card Systems, Inc. (CCS), a national credit card processing company that later sold to Card Connect which was ultimately acquired by First Data (the largest credit card company) for $750 million. In addition to conventional credit card processing, Jeff has started three other operating companies in the payments and finance space: Alternative Merchant Processing Inc. (AMP), a company devoted to working with high-risk merchants, LexCharge, focused on working with law firms, and Charge Card Funding, which provided working capital and cash advances to merchants nationally. Prior to entering the merchant services’ industry, Jeff began his career at Lehman Brothers in its investment banking division.
A successful published author, Jeff’s first book, “Size Doesn’t Matter—Why Small Business is Big Business,” hit #1 on Amazon in the business and entrepreneurship categories. He has published five other business books and is a contributing writer for Entrepreneur Magazine and The Business Journal. He is also a columnist and a member of the Advisory Board for The Green Sheet, the leading trade publication in the payments and merchant processing industry. In addition, he was a member of the First Data ISO Advisory Board and First Data President’s Council.
Jeff received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tufts University and studied finance at the London School of Economics. He is married with three children, and his personal goal is to play the top 100 golf courses in the USA.
Chief Revenue Officer
Chris Ferrante has 25 years of executive sales leadership, business development, revenue operations and direct & channel sales experience in the computer software industry. As TouchSuite’s Chief Revenue Officer, Chris is responsible for the go-to-market strategy and execution in sales, marketing demand generation, digital marketing, business development and revenue operations.
Chris is disciplined in business management, process excellence, team building, personnel development, and cross departmental collaboration enabling his ability to dramatically scale revenue with B2B sales models serving Enterprise, Mid-Market and SMB market spaces. During his executive tenure, Chris successfully facilitated multiple PE backed exits of SaaS companies acquired by billion-dollar tech companies, furthering further enriching his business development experience.
Throughout his career, Chris has been an over-achiever, self-starter, change agent and dynamic leader with a proven track record of success building high performing, customer-centric and metrics driven teams. Chris has successfully launched sales organizations from startups and re-engineered existing sales forces yielding higher productivity, efficiency and maximized results while maintaining P&L responsibility and consistently surpassing revenue and EBITDA goals. As a result, Chris has built and managed sales organizations with annual revenues exceeding $100 million while providing significant returns to shareholders.
Chris received his B.A. degree in Social Sciences, with a minor in Business and Computer Science, from Florida State University.
Chief Corporate Development Officer
Richard Feldman has over 15 years of corporate development, private equity, and investment banking experience with a focus in the Fintech and Financial Services sectors. Before joining TouchSuite, Richard served as Director of BGC Partners’ (NASDAQ: BGCP) Strategic Transactions Group. He anchored numerous high profile, high reward transactions including partnerships with Heat Energy, Remate Lince, Epsilon Networks, and Wolf and Hurst.
Prior to BGC, Richard was the Vice President of Global Principal Investments Group, a Bank of America’s vehicle. There he invested over $115 million in capital, managed a portfolio of public and private investments worth over $1 billion in value, and advised on transactions worth approximately $400 million. He served as a Director of ELX Futures, L.P, NYSE Amex Options, LLC, and CHX Holdings and held buy and sell-side positions at Cruiser Capital, Painter Hill Partners, and Wachovia.
Richard received his B.S. in Economics from Vanderbilt University where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Society.
Director of Global Operations
Brett Abish is currently the Director of Global Operations at American Bancard DBA Touchsuite. Brett held the position of Risk Analyst before taking over Touchsuite’s Risk and Compliance Department in 2019. Brett was promoted to his current position of Director of Global Operations as he now overseas all underwriting, risk monitoring, compliance, business intelligence, development, and satellite office operations.
Previous to Brett’s employment at Touchsuite, he held the roll of Financial Analyst where he was responsible for compliance reporting and financial projections.
In his free time, he enjoys expanding his already broad knowledge of computer science and database management. The depth and diversity of Brett’s background makes him well equipped to handle the pressure and importance of Touchsuite’s global operations processes and protocols.
Drew Sherman has over 25 years of legal experience as a corporate, business, and transactional attorney, having represented numerous corporations in diverse industries throughout his legal career. Prior to joining TouchSuite, Drew was a partner with several law firms based in South Florida. Drew is admitted to practice law in Florida, New York, and the District of Columbia, and is rated “AV Preeminent” by Martindale-Hubbell. Drew received his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Senior VP of Operations
Shelley-Ann is a seasoned fintech executive with over 20 years of industry experience. She currently lends her comprehensive knowledge the processing industry to managing operations at TouchSuite and consults on all aspects of the business from internal personnel to merchant issue resolutions.
Prior to Touchsuite, Shelley was the first employee of Charge Card Systems Inc. (CCS), and during her tenure at the company became the Director of Operations. With her help, CCS grew from a three-person company to a fully staffed operation, employing more than 500 sales representatives across the United States.
Following CCS’s sale to Card Connect in 2012, Shelley-Ann joined Card Connect as its Director of Operations (CCS Division.) She subsequently joined Swipely (now called Upserve) as its Processing Operations Manager and was later recruited by LexCharge to join its management team.
Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Shelley-Ann moved to Florida in 1992. She completed her Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems at Miami Dade Community College and her bachelor’s degree at Florida Atlantic University with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Computer Information Systems.
